Sailendria
Sailendria was agriculturally based and controlled the strait of moldova which was an important trade route. They also constructed the Borodudor - a gigantic budhist temple.
Srivijaya 600-1200 AD
Srivijaya conquered sailendria and established a capitol in Polembang.
Khmer 800-1200 AD
The Khmer built the Ankor Wat which is still today the biggest religious structure. It even has an observatory. These people were hini whoch means that they must have interacted with the Indians somehow. They were very good at growing crops and soon figured out a great way to irrigate their crops to produce four times the yield.
Dai Viet 939-1225 AD
They were ruled by the Ly dynasty and were very influenced by china. Although, their women had better treatment than the chinese women. They prospered from a strong central government and the easy trading the nearby Makong river gave them. It was also a great resource for irrigating their crops, as they were agriculutrally based.
